We’ve officially entered May after a flurry of releases in April. We may expect to see new phones from Sony, Samsung, Vivo, OnePlus, and more firms this month. The Vivo X80 and Xperia 1 IV are two of the company’s upcoming flagships, in addition to a slew of other devices. Without further ado, here are all of the future cell phones that will be available in the first half of May in the year 2022.
The Vivo T1 Pro/T1 44W is the first smartphone to be announced in May 2022.
An Indian Vivo T1 series has already been announced, which includes the vanilla Vivo T1 5G. The Vivo T1 Pro 5G and Vivo T1 44W versions of the T1 will be available in India on May 4 under the brand’s new Vivo name.

Peak brightness on the AMOLED screen of the Vivo T1 Pro 5G is expected to be 1300 nits. Powered by the Snapdragon 778G, it will include a 64MP primary camera. Up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage will be available on the gadget. There’s no word yet on the phone’s battery capacity, but we do know that it will enable 66W rapid charging. It will be available with an 8-layer liquid cooling system and the Android 12 operating system.
The Vivo T1 44W, on the other hand, is a 4G smartphone. It will include an AMOLED display and a Snapdragon 680 processor. An 18W fast-charging battery will be included in the device. Finally, it comes pre-installed with the Android 12 operating system.
Neo6 SE by iQOO
The Chinese release date of the iQOO Neo6 SE has been set for May 6. A Puncture-hole display with Full HD+ quality is expected to be on the phone. 120Hz refresh, 1200Hz touch sampling, and HD10+ certification are all set for the OLED panel.

There will be an OIS-enabled 64MP primary camera on the phone. A 4,700mAh battery and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC will power it. The battery will be equipped with an 80-watt fast-charging system.
ZTE Axon 40 smartphone
The ZTE launch in China is scheduled for May 9th. The Axon 40, Axon 40 Pro, and Axon 40 Ultra are expected to be released by the firm. Hardware-level security will be provided by an independent security chip in the series.

It is expected that the Axon 40 Ultra will have a 64MP triple camera system, while the Axon 40 Pro will have a 100MP camera setup. An under-display 16MP camera with 2.24m pixel fusion technology is rumored to be included on the Ultra’s front. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Sound and dtsX Ultrasound will be included in the series. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC will provide the necessary performance.
Sony Xperia 1 (fourth generation)
The Xperia 1 IV is set to be unveiled at a launch event on May 11. A 6.5-inch 4K display with a 120Hz refresh rate is expected on the smartphone. Protective Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and HDR capabilities will be included.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and 12GB of RAM will power the phone. In addition, it is likely to be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 45W rapid charging. A ZEISS-branded triple camera system is believed to be included in the phone’s camera system.
M1 Pro Axon
In China, Vivo has already introduced the X80 series. On May 8 in Malaysia and May 18 in India, the series will be officially launched. The Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro are two models in the line.

In terms of aesthetics, the Vivo X80 and the X80 Pro are very similar. The phones feature a 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a peak brightness of 1500 nits, and a color gamut of 100 percent P3. resolution is found on the screen, while QHD+ resolution is found on the Pro version.
To put it another way, the X80 has three 12-megapixel cameras, while the X80 Pro has four 50-megapixel cameras: one each for 48-megapixel resolution, 12 MP, and 8 MP. Both cameras have a 32MP selfie-taker. Two different battery capacities are available: The X80 Pro has a 4,700mAh battery and the Dimensity 9000 SoC, which both run on a 4,500mAh battery. The two devices come pre-installed with Android 12 and offer rapid charging of up to 80 watts.
Samsung’s A13 5G
Samsung’s Galaxy A13 5G has received a number of certifications and is likely to go on sale within the next several weeks. On Samsung’s official website, the phone’s help page is also available.

The SM-A136B model of the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G has a 6.5-inch PLS LCD display. It will have an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. A 50MP triple-camera system and a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC will be included in the smartphone. Android 12 will be preinstalled on the gadget, which will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Plus One
Since the launch of a number of devices in various areas last month, OnePlus has not stopped developing new devices. The OnePlus Nord 2T, which is slated to be released this month, is an example of this type of device. As the successor to the Nord 2, this handset is expected to include several new features.

A few certifications for the smartphone have lately surfaced. A 50MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.9 is believed to be included in the smartphone. The Redmi Note 12 series has been teased by Redmi. The Note 12 and Note 12 Pro are very much in the works for this series. CEO Lu Weibing has hinted that the series’ release date will be announced shortly, despite the fact that the firm has yet to do so. Based on the Note series’ launch patterns, we believe it will be available in China by the end of the month.

The Note 12 series is expected to give a big performance boost over its predecessors this time around, as well. However, there is no information on the chipset that will be used in the phones. In ninth place, we have the Samsung Galaxy A04s.
