The Bosch GKT18V-20GCL Track Saw with Plunge Action is a compact, one-battery cordless track saw with the performance of a corded track saw. It has a uniquely compact design, with a one-battery power system and a 5-1/2 In. saw blade, for superior mobility. The saw’s track-guidance system provides exact adjustments for precision end-to-end cuts and plunge cuts. The cuts are table-saw quality, with virtually no splinters. This saw features Bosch’s BITURBO Brushless Technology, a brushless high-performance motor and drive-train system engineered to take full advantage of the additional power generated by 8.0 Ah and 12.0 Ah CORE18V batteries. The kit includes a CORE18V 8.0 Ah battery, the next-gen Lithium-ion battery that delivers 2X the power and runtime of standard two-layer 4.0 Ah 18V batteries with minimal increase in volume. For close-to-wall cuts, it has a minimum distance between the blade and the wall is only 0.4 In.
