Dogs Who Heal spotlights these canine heroes in poignant portraits accompanied by quotes from students describing how they were helped by each dog. The calendar includes an essay on the therapy dogs’ impact by teacher Sarah Lerner, editor of Parkland Speaks, as well as a compilation of student works about their experiences in the aftermath of the shooting. As uplifting as the calendar is, it also has a practical benefit: A portion of sales will be donated to the nonprofit Canine Assisted Therapy. Printed on FSC-certified paper.
