The Dritz My Double Designer Dress Forms help you fashion a double of your body providing you with professional looking garments. Use the form to audition fabrics and test the drape and overall look and feel before you start your project. The form is ideal for checking the fit of your pattern tissues and garment test muslin. The form assists with modifications and alterations to both new construction and ready-to-wear clothing that requires modifications. A cappuccino colored cover provides a neutral work surface that will showcase your fabrics. The cotton/polyester fabric has a foam backing that can be pinned into at an angle. The form includes 12 soft-grip rolling wheels at the bust, waist, and hip areas. A slight turn of the wheel allows you to achieve precise measurement increments for a customized form that matches your exact body measurements. The neck can be adjusted and increased in size by using the decorative wood finial at the top of the neck. If you have a long back waist length, the form can be adjusted by using the convenient knob located on the neck. Turning the knob will automatically split the form at the waist and hip area providing up to 2” of extra length. When working with blouses, tops, shirts, and jackets, the extended shoulders assists and support proper setting in of the sleeves. The form comes with two pole placements. The center pole is used for fitting and hanging tops, blouses, shirts, jackets, coats, skirts, dresses, and gowns. The off-set pole with shaped hips and crotch area supports the design and fitting of pants. The height of the form is adjustable allowing you to match your shoulder to floor measurement. The My Double Designer forms have the tallest shoulder to floor length measurements making them the best forms to use for gown and costume construction. Use the 360° pin hem marker and the printed measurements on the pole to create accurate, even hems. The rolling base on the form provides easy movement around your sewing workspace and the 5 locking casters provide stability during use.
