About the Author

George White resides in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is the President of Jumping Jack Press, and also author of six pop-up imprint titles, including Kirby’s Derby, Kirby the Easter Dog, Splish Splash Dog Bash, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Villains, and Moonbeam Award winning books Halloween at the Zoo and Christmas at the Zoo.  George has been President of Up With Paper, the world’s largest pop-up card company and the parent company of Jumping Jack Press, since 2004, and has spent most of his career making paper interesting and fun

Jason O’Malley began his career as a graphic designer and art director for the likes of Donna Karan, Abercrombie and Fitch, OUT magazine, and Laird + Partners. In 1998, he came to his senses and realized he could make a living as an illustrator. His greeting cards are featured in hip shops around the globe and his illustrations have appeared in many publications including Vogue, The New York Times, and Elle Decoration. In 2006, he was selected one of the “200 Best Illustrators Worldwide” by Lürzer’s Archive. In 2007, his first two children’s pop-up books for Jumping Jack Press won gold and bronze Moonbeam Awards. Several of his illustrations are featured in the 2008 edition of The Big Book of Fashion Illustration. Jason lives two hours north of New York City in The Catskills.
