The music is dark, funky, and a bit creepy at times. But boy, you just can’t turn it off once it is on. –Pegasus NewsPVC Street Gang are two dudes making music in their garage, most likely at 2am and most likely while drunk. Both are okay with us. The result is “dark, funky, and a bit creepy” (according to Pegasus News) but, oh boy, do we love it. –Insound.comNo, maybe the band’s music isn’t for everyone. But for those with similar lo-fi, ’80s post-punk tastes, “Cutlass” stands as one of the most effective calls-to-arms seen from any area outfit in 2009, welcoming audiences to the sonic landscape of a distopian future that isn’t anywhere near as friendly as we’d been led to believe. –Dallas Observer
