Product Description

By way of a delicious nail soup, a selfish, grim old lady is transformed into a generous and agreeable person. How is that possible? When a traveler knocks at a lonely cottage hoping for a place to sleep, he encounters a scowling woman who allows him to sleep on the floor. She quickly declares however, that she hasn’t a morsel of food. The traveler responds by saying “That’s OK, I can share what I have” as he takes an old nail from his pocket and begins to make nail soup. ¿Cómo es posible que una deliciosa sopa de clavo convierta a una mujer hosca y egoísta en una persona generosa y agradable? El cuento explica la historia de un viajero que un día llega a la casa de la protagonista y le pide que le deje pasar la noche y cenar. Por toda respuesta, el viajero no encuentra más que gruñidos, negativas y excusas, hasta que decide preparar la sopa de clavo.
