The Lewis Sperry Chafer Collection

Lewis Sperry Chafer was an American theologian who founded the Dallas Theological Seminary. Chafer was also notable for being a strong supporter of Christian Dispensationalism in the early 20th century. Chafer’s books, such as He That is Spiritual, Salvation, and True Evangelism, are still widely read by Christians of all denominations. This collection includes the following: He That is Spiritual, published in 1918, is a classic devotional. The book is excellent for Bible teachers and students as Chafer helps define what it means to live a spiritual life. Salvation is a devotional in which Chafer provides examples from the scripture on how Jesus secured salvation for all of us. Satan is a book Chafer wrote with the intent of helping Christians understand Satan better. The book is very insightful in helping us to understand how Satan works against us and what we can do to protect ourselves. The Kingdom in History and Prophecy is a devotional in which Chafer provides an excellent explanation of the historic aspects of the kingdom and how it relates to the present. True Evangelism is a book Chafer wrote on subjects such as man’s sin and God’s salvation.
