Joseth Howell earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Rutgers University and a Master’s degree in Public Health from Columbia University. She enjoys teaching and writing about science, and exploring the outdoors in nature with family and friends. She loves spending time at the beach with family and friends on warm summer days, and going sledding in the winter. Born in North Carolina, she now lives in Michigan with her husband and two adventurous young sons with whom she enjoys doing scientific observations, experiments and art projects.
