The Redmi K50 gets a new color option, 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage.

In March of this year, Xiaomi released the Redmi K50 line of smartphones in China. The Redmi K50 will soon come in two more colors for Chinese customers to choose from.

The Redmi K50 smartphone, which features 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, has been unveiled by the firm. For a total of 2,899 yuan (about $435), you can get this new model. Pre-orders are being accepted in China, and the item will go on sale on the 26th of May.

The new name for the matte white back panel of the Redmi K50 series has also been introduced by the firm. With a starting price of 2,399 yuan (about $360), it will go on sale on June 18th.

The Xiaomi Redmi K50 has a 6.67-inch AMOLED QHD+ display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate on board. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 CPU under the hood.

A maximum of 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage are available on each of the devices. A triple-camera arrangement on the rear of the Redmi K50 has a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. There is a 20MP camera on the front for taking selfies and making video calls.

Xiaomi’s MIUI 13 custom user interface is preinstalled on top of the Android 12 operating system. The gadget has a 5,500 mAh battery with 67W rapid charging capabilities.
